QUESTIONS ABOUT
AUSPEX.
What it is, what it costs, how copy trading works and how your funds are protected, answered plainly.
What is Auspex?
Auspex is trading software for Hyperliquid. From one account and one USDC balance you can trade crypto perpetual futures and, through trade.xyz on Hyperliquid, US stocks, indices, gold, oil and currencies such as the euro, pound and yen, 24 hours a day. You can also follow and copy Hyperliquid wallets. Auspex is non-custodial: your funds stay in wallets that belong to you.
Does Auspex hold my money?
No. Your wallets are created for you by Privy and belong to you; Auspex never sees or stores their private keys. Auspex holds a trading key that can place and close trades in your account, pay the per-trade platform fee and move funds between your own Auspex wallets. It cannot send funds anywhere else: rules attached to each wallet refuse it, and those rules are set by an offline key that our servers do not hold. More on how your funds are protected.
What does Auspex cost?
It is free to join, with no subscription and no performance fee. Each trade you place pays 0.05% of its notional value as a builder fee, collected by Hyperliquid when the trade fills, on top of Hyperliquid's own trading fee (0.045% taker at the base tier). Trades that a copy places for you pay 0.10%. Nothing is charged when you don't trade. Full details on the Fees page.
How does copy trading work on Auspex?
You choose a Hyperliquid wallet and set your own size, leverage and stop. When the wallet opens or closes a position, Auspex places the same trade in your own Hyperliquid account. Copies run a little behind the wallet, and that delay is measured and published. You can pause or stop a copy at any time, and every copy trades from your own wallet, never a pooled fund.
Does copy trading on Auspex make money?
Sometimes, and not reliably. We publish every copy placed through Auspex, counted from Hyperliquid's own fills: how many closed in profit and how many closed at a loss, after fees, and how far behind the wallet each copy was. See the copy trading results. Past results are not a promise of future results, and copying a wallet that has done well can still lose money.
How are the wallets on the Auspex list chosen?
Every night we score around 2,000 Hyperliquid wallets, screened from 45,000 accounts. For each one we simulate what copying it over the last 45 days would have made: every position it opened, copied a little late with $1,000 at 3x and a 25% stop, after the fees a copier pays. A wallet qualifies only if that gave at least five copies and stayed in profit even without its two best copies. The list is ordered by the share of weeks in profit, then the result, and updated weekly. It is a list, not advice. See the current list.
Can I check a wallet before copying it?
Yes. Replay any Hyperliquid wallet for free, without an account. It rebuilds the wallet's last 30, 60 or 90 days from Hyperliquid's own fills and plays every position as a copy at your size, leverage and stop, entered slightly after the wallet and after all fees.
What can I trade on Auspex?
Crypto perpetual futures on Hyperliquid, and US stocks, indices, commodities such as gold and oil, and currencies through trade.xyz on Hyperliquid. They all trade from the same USDC balance, around the clock, with no market hours.
How are my trades protected?
Every trade you open asks for a stop, and the stop is placed on Hyperliquid together with the entry, so it keeps working even if Auspex is offline. A stop limits a loss; it does not remove it.
What protects my account and withdrawals?
Withdrawals need you. From 23 October 2026 every withdrawal needs your two-factor, and a new withdrawal address has to be confirmed from your email before money can go to it. Every withdrawal or transfer on an Auspex wallet alerts us within a minute, around the clock. What this cannot cover is your own email login and the platforms we build on, such as Hyperliquid and Privy. See How your funds are protected.
What happens to my money if Auspex goes down?
It stays in your own wallets, and stops already placed keep working on Hyperliquid. A separate page at exit.auspex-trade.com lets you sign in, see your wallets and export your key, so you can use your funds directly on Hyperliquid without Auspex.
Where can Auspex be used? Is it regulated?
Auspex is not authorised or regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority or any other financial regulator. The service is not intended for residents of the United States or the United Kingdom, or of sanctioned countries, and you must be 18 or over. See the Terms.
How is Auspex different from trading on Hyperliquid directly, or copying on a centralised exchange?
Your trades go to the same Hyperliquid order book, and Hyperliquid's own fee applies either way; Auspex adds 0.05% a trade, or 0.10% on trades a copy places. In return you get a stop placed with every entry, stocks and crypto in one place, wallet discovery and copy trading, and published results. Copy trading on a centralised exchange means your funds are held by that exchange; on Auspex, copies trade on Hyperliquid from your own wallet.
Does Auspex have a referral programme?
Yes. You earn 25% of the platform fees paid by everyone who joins through your link, for as long as they trade, plus 5% from the people they bring and 2% one level further. It is paid automatically every Monday, in USDC to your Auspex wallet on Hyperliquid.
Is there an Auspex community?
Yes, our Telegram group at t.me/auspex_trade. Every trade opened or closed by the traders on our copy list is posted there 5 minutes after it happens, the list traders' results go up every Sunday, and you can ask questions in the Help topic. Admins never message you first.
Trading perpetual futures carries a real risk of loss. Nothing on Auspex is advice or a recommendation.
